Routine Foot Care
Foot and nail care can have a significant impact on an individual’s quality of life. It promotes mobility, comfort, and can prevent falls, wounds, and amputations. Our certified foot care nurse offers safe, professional medical foot care services to senior citizens and medically complex individuals in the comfort of their own homes. We also offer discounted rates to senior centers, group homes, assisted living facilities, family care homes, hospice centers, and nursing homes.
Our services include an initial foot care visit, which includes obtaining the patient’s medical history, conducting a comprehensive bilateral leg, ankle, foot, and toe assessment, assessing gait and footwear, creating a patient-centered treatment plan, foot care (gentle cleanse, toe nail trimming, thinning and filing, treatment of corns, calluses or other lesions, and application of products specific to your needs), patient education, and providing referrals to podiatrists and wound clinics as needed.
We also offer routine foot care, which includes a comprehensive leg, ankle, foot, and toe assessment, updating the treatment plan if needed, foot care treatment (gentle cleanse, toe nail trimming, thinning and filing, treatment of corns, calluses or other lesions, and application of products specific to your needs), patient education, and referrals if needed.
Additionally, we offer the following services to our routine foot care service: toe nail polish application (non-fungal nails) for an additional fee, a 15-minute foot soak with leg/foot massage and product application (non-diabetics) for an additional fee, and the application of compression wraps (unna boot, 2 layer or 4 layer wraps) for an additional fee.
